Dalton Cache Border Station – Dalton Cache Border Station Building Envelope Upgrades in Haines, AK was a remote construction project in which ACC performed renovation of the Border Station Building including roofing, siding, windows, framing, concrete, insulation, and plumbing. The facility is owned and operated by the GSA. Construction was completed in 2013. Contract value was $286,000. The contract was originally awarded to Waka Group, which failed to perform and the project was taken over by Hartford Insurance. American Construction & Coatings, LLC took over the project from Hartford and as a result of effective management was able to maintain the original personnel assigned and save the GSA additional cost overruns.

Makah Fish Hatchery – Improvements to the Makah National Fish Hatchery in Neah Bay, WA was a remote construction project in which ACC performed renovation of the Fish Hatchery including roofing, window replacement, siding, interior walls, insulation, electrical, fire alarm, and the construction of steel shade structure. Construction was completed in 2013. Contract value is $453,200.

NOAA Spokane Parking Lot Upgrades – ACC performed improvements on a National Weather Service parking lot in Spokane, WA. ACC successfully applied a crack seal and seal coat to the asphalt parking lot and driveway, as well as restriping parking stalls to include one handicap stall with handicap symbol. The total asphalt area is 36,500 sf. The total contract amount awarded was $17,419.50. The project was completed in 2013.

GSA Parking Lot Maintenance & Repair – ACC performed improvements as a general contractor on the General Services Administration parking lot at GSA Headquarters in Auburn, WA and Federal Center South parking lots in Seattle, WA. ACC successfully installed 1050 parking stalls at Federal Center South and repaired various potholes of the parking lot and driveway, as well as installing center lines, stop bars, directional arrows, and several handicap stalls with handicap symbols.  The total contract amount awarded was $33,892.00. The project was completed in 2014.

Shelton WWTP – Wastewater Treatment Plant and Front Street Pump Station improvements in Shelton, WA was completed successfully throughout 2011 & 2012. ACC applied special coatings of pipes and buildings as well as on submerged and un-submerged sewage tanks. The project consisted of, but was not limited to, 8 industrial buildings that required painting on floors, external and internal CMU walls, gyp board ceilings, piping, and structural steel.  The contract was awarded for $403,060.

SR 161/SR 18 Improvements – ACC performed as a subcontractor with Mowat Construction on the field painting of Interstate 5 and Hwy 18 interchange for WA State Department of Transportation. The project consisted of applying pigmented sealer to the bridge, structural steel, and concrete barriers. The contract was awarded in 2010 for $515,200.50. The project began in 2012 and was completed in 2013.

Siemens-USGS, Western Fisheries Research Center – ACC performed as a general contractor with Siemens Industries, Inc. on the research center for the United States Geological Survey. The work constisted of the electrical disconnect and reconnect of new equipment, the removal and installation of  autoclave, the removal and installation of Meile washer and dryer, and installation of trim for stainless panels and vents. The contract was awarded in 2015 for $48,834.13. The project began and was completed in 2015.

SR 520 Eastside Transit & HOV – ACC performed as a subcontractor with Eastside Corridor Constructors on the SR 520 East side corridor for WA State Department of Transportation performing the application of pigmented sealer and anti-graffiti coatings to structural steel and concrete surfaces. The project consisted  of over 1 million square feet of field painting. The contract was awarded in 2012 for $472,016. The project was completed in 2015.

SR 520 Floating Bridge & Landings – ACC performed as a subcontractor for Eastside Corridor Constructors on the application of pigmented sealer and anti-graffiti coatings to the bridge, structural steel, and concrete surfaces of the SR 520 Floating Bridge for WA State Department of Transportation. The contract was awarded for $1,148,999. The project will be completed in 2016.
